Pawley's Plantation is investing over $250,000 in upgrades to maintain its status as one of Myrtle Beach's top award winning courses.
Upgrades will leave the practice tees expanded and improved by the addition of new “Celebration” Bermuda greens, known for its bright green color and durability. The course’s greens and newly landscaped grasses and flowers will be well watered through a new pump system.
Tees will be rebuilt along the rice dike reaching into Pawley’s saltwater marsh, and the edges of cart paths improved by adding sodding with zoysia grass.
As if this weren’t enough, the course is also planning on strategically removing trees to allow more sunlight on the course and improve playability.
And the best part? Pawley's will remain open throughout its $250,000 upgrade.
