December 18, 2008 — Spirit Airlines announced plans today to start daily flights between Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Chicago, Ill., beginning March 1, 2009. With the addition of the Spirit flight to Chicago O'Hare International Airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport now offers direct flights to 15 cities in the United States.
